No I wasn't abducted by aliens...

But it sort of felt like it. I know I've been MIA for a while now but I have a good excuse, really I do. Okay so I know you don't believe me but for what it's worth I'm sorry. I don't even know where to start with an update. Everyone knows I left my job to stay home with the kiddo and that is about where I left off. Since then things have changed in a big way but I'll skip all the little details and give you the Reader's Digest version. Basically I left my job, dh lost his job we weren't getting anywhere besides in a hole and so we packed up and moved 12 hours away from home and are way out in West Texas now. How's that for short and sweet? So we left the beautiful countryside and our little house in rural Oklahoma and are living in town, in the desert and with my family until we find something for ourselves here in Texas. Fun huh?

Dh and I are both working now and saving money and paying off debt. We are hoping to be completely debt free sooner rather than later. So far its been a pretty big adjustment, especially for dh. How many men would willingly move in with their MIL? I think he deserves a cookie for that one! But of course its only a temporary move until we got settled in and had a chance to look for somewhere to live. That's what family is for right?

Other than that things are pretty much the norm. When I'm not at work I spend my time chasing after the kiddo. And I do mean chasing now. She learned to walk quite a while back, well actually she mostly runs and I'll tell you now she's quick for someone so small. Currently her favorite activity is to hand you whatever she happens to be holding and wait for you to tell her thank you. Then she gives you her best grin, takes it back and says thank you back. Its really a very cute game, until she has something you don't give back. That ruins the fun in a hurry!

I have a lot of pictures to throw at you but for now I'll just start with this one. She got caught just about to climb on the table to mess in things she knows she's not supposed to touch. It's hard to be too mad at her though. Just look at that face.

I can't believe she's almost 10 months old now. Time really does fly by and it seems like every day she's learned something new.

I've actually managed to squeeze in some crocheting too believe it or not. I've gotten a good jump on my Christmas projects and made a ton of baby blankets. I love that thermal stitch pattern and just kept making those blankets. I'll post some pics of them in the next couple of days. I have to actually take them first!

That's all the update for now because I know morning will be coming all too soon and I will not want to get up if I don't get to bed.
