It only just occurred to me that today is Monday. What a lovely long weekend this has been. My biggest girl hasn’t realized this little fact yet, and I’m afraid she’ll be quite disappointed to learn that there is no ballet class tonight. Thankfully we’ve had an adventure filled weekend to make up for it.
We headed to a nearby creek bed in search of treasures, "like heart shaped rocks and fairies!". I'm not sure we found either of those but we did find a good deal of family fun and a few explorer bags filled with some special rocks that we can't wait to use in some activities this week.
Its a lot easier to walk in the creek. When there is no water in it.

ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I'm not sure what kind of snake it was but I didn't get up close to worry about it. Makes me thankful to have zoom on my camera. ;)
