Happy Anniversary Nana & Papa

Today my inlaws are celebrating their 42nd wedding anniversary. Well maybe not celebrating but it is their anniversary. I guess by the time you've been married over 40 years you're ready to have a low key anniversary. They've mentioned plans of maybe going to eat lunch together, maybe. They're so funny.

Tomorrow or maybe later today I'll post all the pictures from yesterday's birthday party. It was a huge success and not as big of a mess as I had predicted. Woo Hoo!

  1. Just found your blog, somewhat by accident. I, too, live in Oklahoma. I'm fairly new to crocheting, but it's my one true addiction. I'm also new to blogging, so occasionally I stumble onto a site I want to follow. Hope you don't mind. I read through some of your posts and hope to read more soon. Oh, feel free to stop by my blog, "Greyt Balls of Yarn" if you'd like to know more about me. I'll be checking in soon.

  2. Thanks so much! It's nice to see another Okie. I have not been doing enough crochet lately but I have a lot I need to do soon. I'll stop by your blog soon.

  3. By the way, the chocolate-covered strawberries look scrumptious! Did you make these yourself? I'd love the recipe if you have it. And, yes, it made my heart smile when I saw the name "RusticOkie". Makes me feel like someone close is actually reading my babble. :)

  4. Thanks. Yep I made them but there really isn't a recipe. I just used melted almond bark. I already had it on hand so it was quick and easy. They were yummy though. (I saved a few extra for myself).
