This Moment: A year and a half

I'm breaking the rules for this week's moment because it is a special day. My baby is 18 months old today. It still feels like she should be a tiny baby and not some big kid running around, playing and talking with her sister.

This little personality has really thrown us for a loop around here. She came right into the world with her own plans and her own style and we've all been scrambling to keep up. She is so energetic and enthusiastic about everything.

I'm not sure energetic is even a strong enough word for her (a lot of the time it's crazy). She is just non stop from the moment she wakes until she finally crashes at night. (after some jumping on the bed and giggling with her sister)

She has a love for all things furry and lord help them if they don't run faster than she does. Though her all time favorite in the whole world is her "sissy". Oh how they love each other. If Kinsley is gone for more than 30 seconds we hear "Sissy! Where you?" over and over again until she reappears. At which point there is lots of squealing and hugging. Kait has a way of making everyone feel loved because she is always so excited to see you. She is very stingy with her kisses though and you should consider yourself quite lucky if she gives you one unprompted. Quite lucky indeed.

It's been an amazing ride and I can't wait to see what the next 6 months holds for this silly girl. I'm so blessed to be able to watch the magic unfold.
